Step 1.   I don't know why, but they have you press the snap bushing into the 5/8" holes at this point.  I moved this step until last on this page.  Whether you do it in order or not, make sure you secure the snap bushings with your favorite flexible glue.  I used something I got at WalMart's craft section, called E6000.  Stinks for awhile, but does the job.  Don't ask me if it'll hold after repeated changes in temperature, moisture and vibration.  At the very least it prevents the bushings falling into the HS after it's been completed.  Some folks have had that happen.

Step 2.   Cleco the inspar rib, stringer, and stringer web assembly onto the front spar assembly, but don't rivet.

Randy Debauw suggested the rig shown in the picture.  It attaches to the EAA tables and allows one to work with the longer pieces nicely.  Very simple.

Step 3.   Cleco the remaining inspar ribs to the front spar assembly, leaving behind the outboard ribs for now.

Rivet the ribs in place as directed.  The picture is out of focus, but you can see the mistake.  Note how the material curls up.  To avoid this, make sure the shop head is on the thicker material, and in this case that would be the spar web.  If you click on the picture, you'll get to the album for the HS and you can see the repairs and how it should look.
