Step 1.   Remove the weight from the trailing edge and clean up any tank sealant.  You might get some in the rivet holes, and this must be cleaned out.

Step 2.   Rivet the R-1002 spar to the shear clips using the blind rivets called out.

Step 3.  Rivet the R-1004 bottom rib and R-1005 horn assembly to the R-1002 spar, along with the striker plates.  Interestingly, the countersink you put into the top hole of the striker plates is to accommodate the length of the rivet.

Steps 4, 5, 6 & 7.   A series of small rivet jobs next.    

Rivet the R-1003 top rib together and to the R-1002 spar. 

Rivet the R-1001 skins to the spar flanges, leaving the 2 holes open as indicated. 

Rivet the 6 holes that were left open, as per the plans. 

Except for the 3 forward holes in the side flanges of the R-1003 top rib and R-1012 counterbalance rib, rivet the skin to the rib as indicated.
