Step 1.   Place the F-1011C into a vice, with the jaws padded with some angle aluminum.  Don't use the plastic jaw covers that you might use to keep pieces from getting scratched.  It's too soft and doesn't allow the metal to react correctly.  Use a lead filled dead-blow hammer or a hard plastic hammer.  Put a load on it that bends it at least 1/2 inch.  Move it in and out of the vise and whack it good each time.  It'll straighten.  Give it a chance.

Step 2.   After finishing the edges of the F-1011C pieces, cleco them to the F-1011, and final drill with a #30 except for the holes indicated.

Step 3.    Next, take the F-1011A and put into place, aligning the marks with the holes.  Use a C cleco to hold it in place, or a tiny C-clamp.  Drill the holes.  Make sure you cleco as you go to keep it from moving.

Step 4.    Drill out the two holes indicated to 5/8 inch with the Unibit  Make sure it really comes out to 5/8.  I had marked the wrong step and mine was at 9/16" at first.

11/13/05  -  10 minutes

Steps 5.    As you did in Step 3, above, do the same for the F1011E.  Line it up, secure it, drill it.
